Tool:
Figma, Unity
Digital Cities is a smart city control interface designed as the digital twin of a real urban environment. The platform allows operators to monitor and simulate urban systems — including real-time traffic data, security cameras, building density, and other environmental metrics — in both desktop and VR formats.
Project Goal
To design a comprehensive UI/UX layer for an interactive urban simulation platform that supports real-time city management and experimentation. The system needed to feel both intuitive and highly functional — enabling decision-makers to navigate complex datasets without friction.
Interface Layer
I was responsible for designing the full UI system in Figma, collaborating closely with the development team during implementation in Unity. While I wasn’t directly involved in coding, I worked alongside engineers to ensure seamless integration of interface components, interactions, and viewport logic — optimized for both desktop and VR modes.
Outcome
The project resulted in a scalable interface system that bridges real-world city infrastructure with virtual simulation environments. By blending spatial awareness with functional clarity, the Digital Cities platform supports informed decision-making through an immersive, data-rich experience.
