Tool:
Figma, Unity
SolarGrid UI is a visual interface designed for monitoring and managing the digital twin of a real-world solar power facility. The platform allows users to simulate environmental conditions, track performance data, and monitor energy production across solar grids in both real time and projected scenarios.
Project Goal
To design a clear and intuitive control panel for a highly technical system — helping operators and engineers visualize large-scale data like panel efficiency, weather conditions, and grid-level energy flow. Accessibility and real-time clarity were the primary design goals.
Interface Layer
I designed the entire interface system in Figma, working in collaboration with the Unity development team. Although I didn’t code the final implementation, I was involved in the UX structure, component design, iconography, and layout logic to ensure seamless performance in both desktop and immersive environments.
Outcome
The project delivered a real-time operational layer for a solar energy simulation environment.
The interface balances technical density with ease-of-use, enabling efficient monitoring, experimentation, and forecasting for large-scale green energy systems.
